Just thought I would post a few pictures. I have been bad about updating this blog and am trying better to do so now. So here are some pictures from over the last few months. There will be some from Hudson's 2nd B-day, Hudson with Aunt Heather and Alea and also some playing with cousin Ellie and Nate and the church fun fair! Enjoy!

Mommy and Hudson Day!

Saturdays are for mommy and Hudson to spend together because Daddy works. Usually we just have lazy days, especially when it is raining like today. Today we got Daddy off to work and then took a nap! (Hudson and Mommy) Then we went grocery shopping which Hudson always likes to do. He did get to choose a new video to take home and watch. He chose Dora-"Baseball Boots" He was so hilarious watching this, he got Jav's baseball bat that goes to the Wii and was playing right along with Dora and Boots. He loves sports, I think he is going to be our little athlete! He of course had to have his baseball cap on while playing!
Everyday Hudson says more and more words and constantly amazes me with the things he knows. He is getting so big. I'm trying to cherish every day. So even though we miss Daddy on Saturday- I have to say I do like our Mommy and Hudson Day!

Our niece had brain surgery on Monday to remove a tumor that they found about a week ago. She is doing great, she is a real trouper. Today she got her breathing tube removed and her Mom and Dad are anxiously awaiting to hear her little voice. Her MRI showed that everything was clear from tumors, which tells us they got the whole tumor from her brain. Praise God! He is so faithful. Please join us in praying for Ellie's continued healing and also for strength for her parents as they go through this. It is going to be a long road, but I know they will get through it and be an awesome testimony. If you want to know more about Ellie, check out the link on our site called The Smiley's. Long Time No Post

I have been inspired to get this blog going again after my sister-in-law has started doing updates on her daughter that just had surgery on her families blog. I think it is a great way for people to keep updated on your life. I hope I can keep it up! Since I haven't posted anything since Hudson was 2 months old you will be surprised to see how much he has grown! Hopefully it won't be another two years until I write again.

Sorry it has been so long since our last update. I hope you enjoy these new pictures of our little man. Hudson is getting so big. He was 11 weeks old yesterday and will be 3 months old on July 8th. At his 2 month physical he was 9 pounds 14 ounces and I'm sure he is well over 10 pounds now. He is a good little eater. He is sleeping well, also. Last night he slept through the night for the first time! Woohoo! His daddy and I were very excited about this. He is smiling a lot and loves his puppy bouncy seat. He smiles real big when the little puppy moves back and forth.

I have also gone back to work since our last update. It was hard to take Hudson to daycare the first day but we really trust Wendy and Hudson is adjusting well to being there and always seems happy when I pick him up. She keeps him on a really good schedule for us. I miss him during the day and practically run people over to get out the door at 5:00, but it makes the nights even more special. It did make it easier to go back to a job that I love and co-workers that are great!

Anyway...things are great! We are so blessed. Others are not so fortunate. Please check our link to our friends blog "Faith" their daughter was born at 25 weeks and she has been fighting for her life ever since. Every day we are thankful for the gift of a healthy child. Please pray that Faith will be one of God's miracles and that he will heal her and restore her. She is so precious. Also pray for Brian and Jen as they struggle to understand why more and more trials keep coming there way.
